Some Key Outtakes

Working hard will not get you far without a strategy behind it.

The deepest goal one has is often freedom, everything else is based off that.

Setting goals are one thing and motivating yourself to work at them is another, but it will not be completed unless it is the most dominant thing in your mind, as it will try everything to affirm it.

Smart Goals: S.M.A.R.T

It is.....

  • Specific
  • Measurable
  • Attainable
  • Relevant
  • Time bound

Micro-goals are small checkpoints which are used as building blocks for the completion of one's goal Without it, the lack of progressive satisfaction will render the host dry of motivation and willingness to keep taking action.

It's important to incorporate focus areas for the day, and also affirmations.

At the end of your day, identify two major actions, identify your strengths and weaknesses and act upon your weakness with small and progressive pivots of character

Accountability is also a big killer of accomplishing goals. The majority of people set yearly goals (resolutions) and are bright eyed and bushy tailed at the start, and dead inside by the end. This is because no one is holding them accountable for the completion of their goals but themselves.

Core goals are anchors for the future, you will be hit with unpredictability, resulting in adjustments and pivots. But if you keep relatively on track your core goals will manifest themselves.

Regular reviews!

Looking forward at a goal is good, but looking back and improving upon weaknesses can get you there;
